3. Meta Permissions Used by WinAds

public_profile

Used to access public profile information made available by Meta, such as the user's name, Meta/Facebook User ID, and other public profile information.

email

Used to access the user's primary email address where Meta makes it available to the application.

business_management

Used to access and manage authorized Meta Business Manager information and business assets.

ads_read

Used to access information from authorized advertising accounts, including advertising information, reporting information, and Ads Insights.

ads_management

Used to read and manage authorized advertising accounts, campaigns, advertisements, and other advertising assets.

pages_manage_ads

Used to manage advertisements associated with authorized Facebook Pages.

catalog_management

Used to create, read, update, and manage authorized business-owned Meta product catalogs.

The actual information available to WinAds depends on:

  • The Meta permissions you grant
  • The Meta account you connect
  • The business assets you authorize
  • The functionality you use
  • The information made available by Meta through its APIs

WinAds does not request or process Meta information beyond what is necessary to provide the functionality requested or authorized by the user.

WinAds does not collect or store Facebook or Meta passwords.

We do not use Meta user data to independently build unrelated user profiles or for unrelated advertising purposes.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information or Meta user data.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate WinAds and provide our services, including providers of:

  • Your Meta/Facebook User ID, if applicable

We may request additional information to verify your identity and protect your account from unauthorized deletion requests.

After verifying the request, we will delete the applicable personal information and Meta-related information from our systems, except information that we are required or permitted to retain under applicable law or legitimate legal obligations.

Meta Data Deletion

If you have connected a Meta/Facebook account or Meta business asset to WinAds, you may request deletion of information that WinAds has obtained from Meta by following the Data Deletion Request process described above.

You may also disconnect or remove WinAds's access to your Meta account or business assets through the relevant Meta account or business settings.

A request to delete data from WinAds's systems does not necessarily delete information held directly by Meta. Information maintained directly by Meta is subject to Meta's own policies and procedures.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, misuse, or destruction.

We restrict access to personal information to people and service providers who require access for legitimate business, operational, security, or service-related purposes.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
